Canada is growing our Arctic military presence<\/a>. IMHO it’s going to take too long to get more permanent footing there given the threat. This stuff takes time and sends a message. Net positive.<\/p>\n

Who knew that radar was still a thing? There’s a technology that works over the earth’s curve and the Aussies are going to help us bring it<\/a>. Shades of the Distant Early Warning and Pinetree lines which we thought were obsolete.<\/p>\n

I don’t condone vandalism towards Deploreans. Commercial protest vandalism might prove effective if humans aren’t physically harmed. It’s a dangerous gambit IMHO and I wouldn’t chose it.<\/p>\n

P.S. The U.S. embassy in Ottawa was spray painted by climate activists<\/a> How do you suppose vandals got that close to a well surveilled and armed building?<\/p>\n
