Chartered by the crown in 1670, the Hudson’s Bay Company had a monopoly on trading posts in the praries and Northern Ontario and Quebec. They acted as a de facto governing body and contributed much to the hardships of Canada’s First Nations during colonization. It’s distinctive blankets were used as currency in during the fur trade era. Now people are rushing to pick them up during the sales.

It’s a symbol of Canada for good or ill. My mom always gave them as wedding presents. They’re not cheap but they last a lifetime and are warm as fuck. So there’s that I guess. Meanwhile, their heads are still theiving corporatist ruling class warriors giving themselves millions in bonuses while workers lose their jobs.

Mike Meyers appears in two campaign videos with Mark Carney defending Canadian sovereignty.

Pierre Pollievre is dogged by his refusal to get security clearance. This combined with India’s interference in the PCC leadership race adds to Canadian opinion that our opposition leader is compromised.

Pollievre says a security clearance would muzzle him. IMHO if a national leader can’t keep his damn mouth shut about national security concerns he’s aiding and abetting our adversaries. A traitor.

Alberta premier Danielle Smith leverages her MAGA ties and asks tariff delay during election. The extremists in Canada work with those in the U.S. Smith and Pollievre are collaborators and wanna bes.

In infowars:

I finally finished cleaning-up the damage from the Gulf of Mexico/Denali subject headings propagating to Omni catalogue. Except for the furnace going tits up and costing me $26K of unanticipated debt. More adulting has to happen to finagle a better loan. My health is ok. Major pain flare week but in Canada we can get methocarbomol over the counter.
